Mount Everest

Jan 1, 1960 - London, England, U.K. - From everest to a top floor flat Sir Edmund Hillary at home: The conqueror of Mount Everest is spending his time now working at a typewriter and preparing for his Lectures.Helping this tusk, and proving even better in looking after him than the Sherpas, is his wife. They have settled temporarily in a small top-floor flat in Chelsea and enjoy looking after themselves. Sir Edmund is, however, already finding the stairs annoying - not the climbing mountains. Sir Edmund Hillary - Conqueror of Everest expects to face thousands of people in lecture rooms and theatres with the coming tours that have been organised by the Royal Geographical Society
