Mountaineers take height test before climb, Seattle, USA

Aug. 25, 1952 - MOUNTAINEERS TAKE HEIGHT TEST BEFORE CLIMB. Five young mountaineers climbed to 20, 000 feet the easy way recently, when they were taken aloft in a Boeing Airplane Company Strato-trainer in Seattle. They were soon to be climbing the hard way when they tackled the 17, 000 feet King peak in the Yukon territory, and they wished to test themselves at altitudes they would encounter on the climb.
