May 05, 1953 - The Mounties Go To Meet Their Horses. Sgt. Jim Fahie Brings Eagle Ashore: Members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police who arrived in London recently to take part in the Coronation Processions today went to the Royal Albert Docks to meet their horses which arrived aboard the CPR Vessel Beaverburn. Photo Shows Sgt. Jim Fahie of Ottawa leading out his mount Eagle from the sling, while his colleagues await their own mounts at the Docks this afternoon
