Oct. 10, 1952 - W.V.S. Appeal For Clothing Parcels. Over Five Hundred Received In Two Days: Two days ago Lady Reading, president of the W.V.S. made a broadcast appeal for parcels of clothing for distressed appeal for parcels of clothing for distressed persons throughout the country. The response has been great - and up to mid-day today over 500 parcels have been received - and the Post Office is organizing special deliveries. Photo shows Mrs. Radford of the W.V.S. with Mrs. G.H.
