1958 - American Crusade on Bomb Tests Deputation Visits No. 10 Downing Street. A deputation of five Americans, on a Europe tour sponsored by the Non Violent Action Against Nuclear Weapons organisation in their country, went to No. 10 Downing Street today in attempt to see the Prime Minister and discuss nuclear disarmament. The deputation, consisting of four men and one woman are trying to secure the banning of nuclear tests and atomic weapons production by talking to private citizens and Government officials. The inspector later allowed two members of the deputation to proceed to No. 10 with a police escort
