Jun. 06, 1965 - Salvation army hands at Buckingham Palace to mark their Centenary Celebrations.L Two Salvation Army bands marched through the gates of Buckingham Palace today and provided a one-hour musical programme on the forecourt to mark the start of the Army's ten-day centenary celebrations. Leading the way was the Army's premier brass band, the International Staff Band, followed by the Earlscourt Citadel Band from Toronto, Canada, the first overseas Salvationist section over to be honoured by the Royal Command to Buckingham Palace.
