Sep. 06, 1965 - (secu:65:Kas:In) security Council Calls for Immediate end of Hostilities between India and Pakistan : UN 90687 United Nations, new York, 6 September 1965. The Secretary - General, U Thant, announced this afternoon that he planned a Very early visit to the area, shortly after the security council unanimously adopted a resolution noting with deep concern the extension of fighting between India and Pakistan and calling for an immediate end to hostilities.
