Feb. 02, 1968 - Mrs. Vlachos calls for King's return. Students at Reading University listening to a speech on European Democracy by Mrs. Helen Vlachos, the Greek newspaper publisher yesterday. Mrs. Vlachos, who escaped to Britain from house arrest in Athens in December, said that King Constantine should return soon to his country or it will be too late for him to go back at all. She appealed for moral intervention from outside Greece to restore democracy there. Her address was part of the University's European seminar.
