Jun. 06, 1956 - Three men accused of Scarface killing: Three men were accused last night of the murder of Thomas Scarface Smithson, who was shot in London on Monday night. They are Philip Aloysius Ellul, aged 29; Victor Spampinato, 22, and Joe Zammit, 26. All were charged at Harrow-road Police Station and will appear at Willesden this morning. Ellul and Spampinato were the first to be charged. Zammit was charged at 9-15 four hours after he was arrested in Stepney.
