Multi fuel fighting vehicle demonstration

Nov. 11, 1959 - Multi Fuel Fighting Vehicle Operating under simulated tropical conditions of 100 degrees Fahrenheit at Britain's Fighting Vehicle Research and Development Establishment, is a 10 ton vehicle which switches from a tank of high octane gas to a tank of low grade diesel fuel and back again without any trouble or loss of power. The demonstration was made to show that the British Army of the future plans to move on multifuel vehicles using high or low grade fuels or a combination of both
