Nazi era painting found in Beer Cellar, Munich

Nov. 11, 1959 - A reminder of the Nazi time was found in the loft of the Burgerbrau Cellar (Beer Hall) in Munich. It is a painting of the Feldherrnhalle, which survived the attack on Hitler on Nov. 9th, 1939 in the Burgerbrau Cellar. When, after the war, the Americans occupied the Cellar and when the picture could not be found after they had left, it was supposed that the painting had emigrated to the USA. Now the picture has been found during an inspection. Opinions about its artistic value differ
