Feb. 25 Another defeat for Goliath: Another example of the fall of power through a small i group came recently in the district of Harrlem in the Netherlands. A 600 year old building, now a chemist shop won it's battle not to be pulled down to make way for a brand new department store, because the towns people cared enough to get up a petition and lobby their local government to get a preservation order on the building because there is hardly any history left in the Netherlands for people to see. A Compromise with the builders was negotiated and now the brand new department store towers over the historic chemist shop only to look down in defeat
