Jan. 01, 1969 - Placards On Display In Stockholm In The Fight Against Narcotics: An advertising firm in Stockholm, Sweden, have taken the initiative in a fight against narcotics. They have errected 400 placards in the form of death notices in the streets of Stockholm stating that narcotics caused the death of him/her. They will be on display in the city for 14 days in prominent advertising positions, which have been made available free of cost. A spokesman of the advertising firm, Stig Arbman Ltd, stated The situation is becoming very dangerous and we hope by putting up these placards the glamour surrounding the narcotics will be greatly reduced Photo shows.
