New electronic coin counting machine demonstrated

Feb. 25 New Electronic coin counting machine; The International Coin Counting Machine Co. Ltd. have produced the M1000 Aptec machine for the sorting, counting and batching of coinage, incorporating electronic counting equipment. It handles British coinage and is to be used at the Bank of England. Coins, fed into the hoppers, are sorted into their denominations and counted automatically while counters register the total. Photo Shows A young woman feeds coins into the machine's hopper during a demonstration today. The coins are sorted out and counted automatically
