New exhibition of royal armour, Tower of London
Dec. 12, 1964 - New exhibition of Royal Armour -at the Tower of London.: To be opened to the public tomorrow (8th.) is the new exhibition of Royal Armour - principally that of Henry VIII - which has been arranged in the newly repaired Horse Armouries - at the Tower of London. It is said to be the best display of Royal Armour in Britain. Photo shows four armours of King Henry VIII. On left is a group of half armours made in the Royal Armouries at Greenwich, for the tournament, around the close of the 16th. century
