New home for Hercules, Steptoe & Son horse

Jun. 06, 1966 - New Home For Hercules The Steptoe Horse: Hercules, the horse featured in the B.B.C series Steptoe and son got a new home today. The present home for about 30 totters and their horses at Norland Gardens, Hammersmith, is needed for new road works, so the Greater London Council has converted garages in Latimer-road, shepherds Bush for the horses. Photo Shows: Hercules of Steptoe fame. leads the scrap metal dealers and their horses into their new quarters in Latimer-road as Mr. Arthur Arnold, the owner of Hercules receives the key of the stable from Mr Greig, surveyor of the Greater London Council
