New inventions exhibition, Nuremberg, Germany
Oct. 27, 1973 - International Exhibition for new ideas, inventions and novelties in Nuremberg, Oct. 27 - Nov. 4, 1973: Every two years this fair for novelists is presented to the public in Nuremberg which is therefore sometimes called city of inventors'. This year's exhibition is the 25th of its kind. There are about 100 native and foreign inventors represented by more than 200 novelists ranging from very practical items to rather odd ones. Photo Shows one of the newly invented devices constructed by some clever Bavarian whose nickname is: King of inventors'. This item is a minimum size record player which helps birds learn how to speak. Its mechanism is connected with the trough in a bird's cage. Whenever the bird starts picking the Kernels he hears the sentences which he is supposed to learn
