New look for Carnaby Street, London
Aug. 08, 1973 - New look for Carnaby Street: One of London's famous tourist attractions Carnaby Street, is being given a new look by Westminster City Council. Black, yellow, white and orange tiles are being laid to add colour to a permanent pedestrian precinct. Photo shows view of Carnaby Street today, showing the gaily coloured tiles. The scheme in expected to be completed towards the end of September
