New nurses uniform
Oct. 10, 1959 - London nursing exhibition at Seymour Hall new coat and hat.: A new nurses uniform was displayed at the London Nursing Exhibition which is being held at Seymour Hall today. It has remarkable easy-on, easy off qualities - its design incorporating only one press stud above the waistline in contrast with a uniform of the 1890 period, which has twenty hooks and eyes and ten press studs. Photo shows Maggie Benn wears a new Nurses outdoor hat - designed by Thaarup, and a coat which is blue - lined with red designed by Charles Creed - at the exhibition today
