New Olympic bell for Berlin stadium, Germany

Nov. 11, 1961 - On Tuesday, November 28th, the new Olympia bell started with a car from Bochum, Germany to Berlin. The new Olympia Bell, which weighs about 6500 kg and is 2.36m high, is smaller than the old Olympia bell of Berlin which was destroyed in the second world war. The new bell is destined for the 70m high tower of the Berlin sports stadium
