Apr. 17 New Statue Of Sir Winston Churchill: Sculptor David McFall was to be seen this morning with his three ft. high plaster model of his new statue of Sir Winston Churchill-which has been commissioned by his constituents at Woodford, Essex. The Statue is to be prepared in bronze-and it shows Sir Winston as he was in about 1944. It will be 8ft. 6in. in height and is to be sited on an apex of a piece of forest land at Salway Hill and Broomhill Walk, Woodford Green. Photo shows.
