Feb. 02, 1985 - The Chief Medical Examiner for the city of New York, Dr.Elliot M. Gross, held a 90 minute news conference at his lawyers, Fifth Avenue office today to depend himself against allegations that he issue misleading or inaccurate autopsy reports, some involving people who died while in the custody of police. The allegations have resulted in a total five investigations, on the city, state and federal level, into Dr.Gross's handling of New York City's medical examiner office.
