Night rally at cemetery, Salzgitter-Lebenstedt, Germany

May 02, 1957 - The German Federation of Trade Unions held a rally on the eve of 1 May. On the nights of April 19 and 20, the Jewish section of the Foreign Cemetery in Salzgitter-Lebenstedt was defiled. The federal interior minister has offered 10, 000DM to anyone who can provide evidence on who had committed the crime. Pictured: The nighttime rally at the cemetery in Salzgitter-Lebenstedt.
