Niki Lauda 1949-2019 Austrian F1 Champion
Three-time Formula One world champion racing driver NIKI LAUDA has died at the age of 70. The Austrian died overnight on Monday, eight months after receiving a lung transplant. Lauda, who won titles in 1975, 1977 and 1984, was hugely admired within F1 after a remarkable career during which he almost died in a fiery crash at the 1976 German Grand Prix that left him severely burned.
