Niki De Saint Phalle exhibiting at Hanover Galleries, London
Sep. 09, 1964 - Niki Turns the Hanover Galleries into a new Chamber of Horrors': To be seen at the Hanover Galleries in Mayfair, London, yesterday was American sculptor - Niki De Saint Phalle with some of the Monsters which she has created all in the name of art. Niki used to fire a rifle at her canvas to create a paint spattered effect but now she concentrates on a new form of sculpture. Her monsters are made of chicken wire, newspapers, toys and dolls bought at Paris stores, like a Honeymoon for me there is so much room for invention.
