Jun. 06, 1971 - Wimbledon star Nikki Pilic marries an actress at the Yugoslav Embassy in London. Nikki Pilic the Yugoslav (Croatian) tennis star who was knocked out of the Wimbledon Championships was married today to actress Mija Adamovic who like him comes from Yugoslavia (Serbia). The ceremony took place at the Yugoslav Embassy in London. Nikki was knocked out of the men's singles by Tom Okker, but is still in the men's doubles.
