Nov. 11, 1956 - Soviet Nobel Price winner prof. N. Semjonow: As reported by the Soviet news agency TASS the Swedish Academy of Sciences just has decided to award the Soviet prof. Nikolai Semjonow (NIKOLAI SEMJONOW) the Nobel Price for chemistry. This price is rewarded to him for the results of his research working concerning the mechanism of chemical reactions. N. Semjonow is the head of the physical and chemical Institute of Moskau's Academy of Sciences since 25 years. Photo shows prof. N.
