Oct. 31, 1967 - Two British Scientists Share Nobel Prize: Two British scientists, Professor G.Porter, 47, Director of the Royal Institution of Great Britain, and Professor R.G.W Norrish, 70, of Cambridge University, were yesterday jointly awarded half of this year's Nobel Prize for Chemistry.
