Oct. 10, 1968 - Nobel Peace Prize Goes to Rene Cassin: The Nobel peace prize 1968 was awarded to Rene Cassin, the Eminent French Jurist, deputy Chairman of the Nato Committee for human rights. M. Cassin who is 81 is also President of the French constitutional counsel. He was de Gaule's legal adviser with the french free forces in London. Photo shows M.
