Dec. 12, 1955 - Nobel Prize Presentation Ceremony In Stockholm: King Gustaf Adolf performed the ceremony of presenting the Nobel Prize to the winners at the Town Hall, Stockholm. The ceremony was followed by a banquet. Photo shows Professor Willam Lamb receives his prize which he shared with Professor Polykarfos Kusch (waiting behind). In the first row - Princess Sibylia; Prince Wilhelm; Princess Birgitta. In background to the right - Mrs. Lamb and Mrs. Kusch, with behind her Mrs. du Vigneaud (in glasses) and besides her Mrs. Laxness with behind her Mrs. Tehorell, wives of the prize-winners.
