Noel Edmonds, disc jockey, in Quasar motor cycle

Oct. 11, 1977 - Noel Edmonds has a ride in a new style two seater semi-enclosed motor cycle called Quasar': Disc jockey Noel Edmonds left broadcasting house this morning as a passenger in a new style two seater semi enclosed motor cycle called the Quasar motorcycle, which is an ultra modern streamline design with windscreen, roof, two reclining seats and a luggage storage compartment. The model used is the last prototype before the Quasar goes into production, Noel was picked up by the inventor Malcolm Newell, who was taking him to Elstree Airfield where a plane will take him to Cadwell part in Lincolnshire for the recording of the UK final of the BBC Driver of the year competition, which Edmonds will present later in the year.
