May 02, 1959 - Notts Forest Win The F.A. Cup With Ten Men: Nottingham Forest won the Football Association Cup with a 2-1 victory over Luton Town in the final at Wembley Stadium today, despite losing right-winger Roy Dwight, who broke his right shin-bone after 35 minutes play. Photo Shows Jock Burkitt, the Captain of Nottes Forest, is carried shoulder high by his team-mates after they had been presented with the F.A. Cup by H.M. the Queen after they had beaten Luton Town by two goals t one in the Cup Final at Wembley Stadium today
