NPD party conference, Holzminden, Germany

Nov. 11, 1971 - Party Conference of the NPD West Germany's Right Extremists From November 19th to 21st, 1971, the National Democratic Party of Germany, widely regarded as Neo-Nazi, held their annual party conference in Holzminden, Lower Saxony, in the north-west of the Federal Republic. Their election successes of a few year ago have recently suffered some severe reversals which led to a split in the party leadership. The party Chairman, Adolf von Thadden surprised his followers with the announcement of his resignation, and the conference elected as his successor 35-year-old Martin Mussgnug, a lawyer and representative in the parliament of the Federal State of Baden-Wurttemberg.
