Shopkeepers in Bold Street Liverpool - commissioned 27 year old Liverpool sculptor Robert Riley to create something suitable for their brighter shopping campaign. His production - a 12ft. nude statue of an armless man was removed after only 24 hours. The shopkeepers were shocked when they saw it. The statue has been removed to a private garden in the suburbs.
