Nov. 11, 1958 - Heroine Odette Challenged by Ex-French Resistance Members.: Odette Churchill the heroine of the French Resistance movement - now wife of Mr. Geoffrey Hallowes was challenged by French Resistance member during the week-end to produce proof of her acts of bravery which earned her the George Cross. Capt. Peter Churchill her wartime partner and ex-husband was also challenged Mrs. Hallowes say that the attack on their exploits were made to create a smokescreen because of moves to expose a British espionage officers a German spy.
