Italy, Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark, making a total research effort comparable with that of the USSR and of the USA. The astrophysics research division of the Radio and Research station is located within the Culham Laboratories and a program of research in solar, staler and astrophysicist also be witnessed. To put all this in a nutshell, Culham exists in pitting its skill and wits in the battle against lightning strikes to aircraft, assisting in space boosters, and the finding out why some oil tankers suffer explosions
