Old age pensioners demonstrate outside Thatcher home

Feb. 02, 1980 - Old Age Pensioners Hold Demonstration Outside Mrs Thatcher's House In Flood Street, Chelsea, London. This morning members of the Pensioners and Trades Union Action Committee held a demonstration outside the house of Prime Minister Thatcher. The pensioners accuse her of looking after the rich and forgetting the old, the sick, the handicapped, and pushing them deeper into poverty. And that Mrs Thatcher and her Government have stolen £195 million from the pensioners, by not raising pensions in line with inflation.
