Old style omnibus running in Aldwych, London
1967 - 1909 Ominibus runs again in London: Unusual sight in London today was that of a 1901 London Read Car Omnibus, on a run from the Aldwych to Berkertex House, Oxford Street. The Omnibus was being run as a prelude to the Berkertex Summer Fashion Race of 1967. It carried models in the new Jockey-Set outfits being featured in the Berkertex Mid-Season Summer Collection which is being shown to the Fashion Press today at Berkertex House. The driver and conductor of the Omnibus which was over an hour late arriving at the Aldwych were Edwardian dress.
