She was born as the daughter of the Tsarist railway minister in Bolschoi Kavkaz, got her education at Moscow actor-school with the famous Konstantin Stanislavski. After she gave birth to a daughter and later divorced from actor Michael Tschechowa, Olga got into the troubles of the Russian revolution and ran away to Germany, where her great career started.
