Olympics - Pan American Games

LEONID BRESCHNEW AND THE OLYMPIC BEAR. The mascot - will it keep, what was expected by it or will this plushy symbol. Nobody knows in which way the American call for boy cotting the Olympic Games in Moscow / USSR (because of the Soviet Union's invasion in Afghanistan) will end. On the occassion of opening the 82nd session of the IOC on Lake Placid the American foreign Minister Vance directed strong attacks against the government of the Soviet Union, which is without example in the history of the IOC. Now the assembly of the IOC will probably have to vote on the question, whether the summer games will be postponed, removed or cancelled totally. But it is assumed that the greater part of the 70 members of the IOC the present will insist on Moscow as place where the summer games 1980 are hold
