May 05, 1960 - Opening of water safety campaign - by Royal society for the prevention of accidents.: A campaign was opened this morning by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents to increase water safety throughout the country. Photo shows Olympic Gold Medalist - Judy Grinham - used a model on which to demonstrate the portable lung - invention of Dr. Bernard Lucas - and which is claimed to be a very advanced method in case of artificial respiration - in event of gassing - electrocution - drowning etc. Seen at the Society Headquarters Knightsbridge this morning
