Off goes the first athlete from Olympica.: The Olympic flames was rekindled at Olympica, Southern Greece today - to be carried by a relay of runner and by ship to Rome - for the opening of the 1960 Olympic Games. In accordance with tradition the torch was lighted by the rays of the sun. Photo shows the first athlete starts off with the flame from Olympica - first stage of the long journey to Rome
