Aug. 08, 1964 - THE TOKYO OLYMPIC PARK-READY FOR THE GAMES..TRAIN-LIKE PRESS BOXES IN ATHLETIC STADIUM.. Work was completed this week on the Komazawa Olympic Park, six kilometers from Tokyo ready for the games. The 410, 000 square area which cost Four Billion, Six Hundred Million Yen to construct field hockey pitch - sub track - volley ball court - a Plaza - parking areas and the Olympic Memorial Tower which is also the center, tower for the Games - television broadcasting etc.. KEYSTONE PHOTO SHOWS: Part of the Athletic Stadium which has seating for 22, 000 showing the train like press boxes..The stadium will be used for football matches preliminary sporting events etc
