Olympics - Pan American Games

Dec. 21, 1967 - On account of the rain, the Greek ceremony that was supposed to see the birth of the Olympic torch, with the help of a solar mirror, was held inside of a museum. The ceremony was then repeated so pictured could be taken in the ruins of Olympia's Temple. The torch was then transported to the summit of Mount Olympus, where it will take its official departure for Grenoble
