Mar. 03, 1970 - Four towns apply for the Olympic Summer Games 1976: One March 21st/22nd the representative of the towns of Florence, Los Angeles, Montreal and Moscow met in Munich to come forward as candidates for the Olympic Summer Games 1976 during the meeting of the International Sports Clubs. The final decision will be made in Amsterdam in May 1970. Experts hold that it will come to a head between Los Angeles and Moscow.
