Mar. 03, 1969 - Olympia-Show in Munich: The start of a world wide Olympia publicity for Munich 1972 was the Olympia-Show which took place in the Munich Bayernhaalle (Bavaria Hall) on 8th March, 1969. Among the starts of the evening were Jesse Owens, quadruple gold medal winner (among others the 100 meters) of the Olympic Games in Berlin 1936; two other quadruple gold medal winners; Fanny Blankers Koen, winner of the 100 meters in London 1948, and Vera Caslavska, winner of the gymnastics contest in Mexico 1968, and last not least Armin Hary, Germany's winner of the 100 meters at the Olympic games in Rome 1960.
