Jan. 11, 1972 - Olympic flags for Munich are made in Berlin: Berlin is sewing flags for Munich. Olympic flags 6000 flags in the colours white, green and blue will decorate the Bavarian capital during the Olympic summer games 1972 (from August 26th to Sept. 10th). These flags with the official emblem, each of them 26 feet long are now being printed in Berlin and will then be sewn by six Berlin seamstresses (photo)
