Mar. 03, 1971 - Olympic Lottery in Munich.: The spiral of fortune 1971 will turn for even more and higher prizes to support the Olympic games in Munich (Germany) financially. The second Olympic lottery on television will start in April, the first prize: One million Mark ( about 112.00 pounds).Whilst last year about 7.5 mio. pounds were received, one will get even better proceeds this year by the lottery on television. From three spirals of fortune the Olympic Organization Comittee expects about 18.5 mio. pounds. For this year's draw of lots, about 50 mio. lots (prize of one lot about 10sh.) will be given out, with which more than one mio. money prizes and 23, 000 object-prizes will be distributed. With new record prizes Europe's biggest lottery will attract the people to buy lots. Also 10.000 tickets for the opening ceremony and the closing ceremony can be won.
