Jan. 06, 1967 - 6-1-67 World Premiere of A Countess from Hong Kong The world premiere of the film A Countess From Hong Kong, which was written and directed by Charles Chaplin, took place last night at the Carlton Cinema, Haymarket. It was something of a Chaplin family occasion. Four Rolls Royce took Mr. Chaplin, his wife, Oona and seven of their children to the Carlton for the premiere, which was attended by Princess Alexandra.
