Opening ceremony, rebuilt State Opera House, East Berlin
Sep. 06, 1955 - An opening ceremony was held on 4 September 1955 for the rebuilt German State Opera House in East Berlin at Unter den Linden. In the dignitaries box was Walter Ulbricht, Otto Nuschke, and State Secretary Jenny Matern, who was in Russia for several weeks. Pictured left is the Diplomatic Corps
